Customers:
- Account information: email address, first name, last name, phone number, password
- Profile information: profile image, address, city, state, zip code
- SMS opt-in preferences

- Custom field responses during booking

Public Booking Information (for non-account holders):
- Customer contact information provided during booking (name, email, phone, address)
- Appointment details (date, time, services selected)

Chat Widget Users:
- Name, email address, phone number (optional), and message content when you submit inquiries through our chat widget
Google Calendar Integration:
- Google OAuth tokens (stored securely for calendar synchronization)
- Calendar event data synchronized between ReHive and Google Calendar

Email Tracking (for Outreach Emails):

2.3 Cookies and Local Storage

3. How We Use Your Information

- Provide and maintain the ReHive Platform

- Send email notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, invoices, outreach emails)
- Send SMS notifications (if opted in)
- Track email opens and clicks for outreach campaigns
- Manage customer relationships

- Improve platform functionality and user experience

Note: All payments are processed through Stripe Connect. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details directly. Payment information is collected by Stripe, processed according to Stripe's privacy policy, and subject to Stripe's security standards (PCI-DSS compliant).
Platform Fees: Businesses using Stripe Connect are subject to platform fees ($1.00 convenience fee per transaction + 2% platform fee per transaction) plus Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). See Terms of Service Section 4.2 for complete fee details.

All third-party processors are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes specified by ReHive.
5. Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Stripe Connect. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details directly. Payment information is:

- Subject to Stripe's security standards (PCI-DSS compliant)
6. Data Security
We implement security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication with JWT tokens
- CSRF protection
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
- Database connection pooling and secure storage
- IP address hashing for analytics (one-way hash function)
- Regular security updates
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Correction
You can access and update your information through your account settings.
7.2 Account Deletion
You can request account deletion by:
- Business Users: Deleting your business account through account settings (requires owner role)
- Customers: Deleting your customer account through account settings

Deletion Process:
- Business accounts: All future bookings are cancelled, customer data is anonymized, and business data is permanently deleted
- Customer accounts: All future bookings are cancelled, customer data is anonymized for compliance purposes
- User accounts: User is removed from all businesses, assigned appointments are cleared
Note: Some data may be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes. Anonymized data may be retained for analytics and compliance. When you delete your account or your subscription ends, we keep your data for 30 days before permanent deletion from active systems and backups.
7.3 SMS Opt-Out
You can opt out of SMS communications by:
- Updating preferences in your account settings
- Replying "STOP" to any SMS message

7.4 Email Opt-Out
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in emails. Transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders) are required for platform functionality and cannot be opted out of.
7.5 Cookie and LocalStorage Management
You can manage cookies and localStorage through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your experience on the Platform.
7.6 GDPR and CCPA Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including:
- Access: Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correction: Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information
- Portability: Request to receive your data in a transferable format
- Opt-Out: Opt out of marketing communications or certain data sharing

8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as:
- Your account is active

When you delete your account or your subscription ends, we keep your data for 30 days before permanent deletion from active systems and backups.
9. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child, Get Started or contact hello@getrehive.com, and we will promptly delete it.
10. International Data Transfers
ReHive is based in the United States. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws.
By using our platform, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards (such as contractual clauses) for data transferred from the EU or UK.
11. Analytics and Tracking
We collect analytics data to improve our platform and understand how users interact with booking pages. This includes:
- Booking Page Visits: We track visits to booking pages to analyze conversion rates and marketing effectiveness
- IP Address Hashing: IP addresses are hashed using a one-way hash function before storage to protect your privacy
- UTM Tracking: We collect UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.) and click IDs (fbclid, gclid) to track marketing campaign effectiveness
- Session Tracking: We use session IDs stored in localStorage to track user sessions and conversions
- Device Information: We collect device type, browser, and operating system information for analytics purposes
This analytics data is used internally and is not shared with third-party analytics providers.
12. Email Tracking
For outreach email campaigns sent by businesses through our platform, we track:
- Email Opens: Tracked via tracking pixels (1x1 invisible images)
- Email Clicks: Tracked via link wrapping (links are wrapped with tracking URLs)
This tracking helps businesses understand email campaign performance. You can disable image loading in your email client to prevent open tracking, but this may affect email display.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted at www.getrehive.com/privacy with a new "Last Updated" date.
For material changes, we may also provide email or in-app notice. Continued use of ReHive after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of the ReHive Platform (the "Platform"), including creating an account, logging in, or using any of our products, tools, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use ReHive. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
Your continued use of the Platform following notice of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. The ReHive Platform
ReHive provides a comprehensive booking and appointment management platform that enables service-based businesses to:
- Manage appointments and bookings
- Process payments through Stripe Connect
- Communicate with customers via email and SMS
- Manage customer relationships and data
- Track time and manage team members
- Send automated reminders and notifications
- Generate invoices and process refunds
- Manage reviews and feedback
- Track analytics and performance metrics
ReHive reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Services at any time with or without notice.
3. Account Registration and Access
3.1 Account Creation
To use ReHive, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. Each business will have its own portal; team members may be granted access by the business owner. Separate customer-facing portals are available for your business's clients.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity occurring under your account
- Notifying ReHive immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Ensuring that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date
3.3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract to use ReHive. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payment Processing Fees
4.1 Subscription Plans
ReHive offers tiered subscription plans to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes:
Essential Plan:
- Starting at $49 per month (monthly billing) or $42 per month (annual billing)
- Includes core features: bookings, payments, team management, customer management, and more
- All transaction fees still apply (see Section 4.3)
Pro Plan:
- Starting at $79 per month (monthly billing) or $67 per month (annual billing)
- Includes all Essential features plus advanced analytics, custom domains, and priority support
- All transaction fees still apply (see Section 4.3)
Enterprise Plan:
- Starting at $99 per month (monthly billing) or $83 per month (annual billing)
- Includes all Pro features plus advanced financial analytics, dedicated account manager, and custom integrations
- All transaction fees still apply (see Section 4.3)
Billing and Subscription Terms:
- Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Annual plans offer savings compared to monthly billing
- Plan upgrades and downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
4.2 Payment Processing Fees
All payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect. The following fees apply to each transaction:
Platform Fees (collected by ReHive):
- $1.00 convenience fee per transaction (flat fee)
- 2% platform fee per transaction (percentage of transaction amount)
Stripe Processing Fees (collected by Stripe):
- 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (Stripe's standard processing fees)
Example:
For a $100 transaction:
- Customer pays: $100.00
- Stripe fee: $3.20 (2.9% + $0.30)
- Platform convenience fee: $1.00
- Platform percentage fee: $2.00 (2% of $100)
- Business receives: $93.80 ($100 - $3.20 - $1.00 - $2.00)
Fee Structure Notes:
- Platform fees are calculated on the transaction amount before Stripe fees
- Platform fees are non-refundable, even if the underlying transaction is refunded
- Fees are automatically deducted from each transaction
- All fees are displayed in your transaction reports
4.3 Billing and Payment Methods
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in U.S. dollars
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe
- You authorize ReHive to charge your payment method on file for subscription fees
- If payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is received
4.4 Renewals and Cancellations
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard
- Your subscription will remain active through the end of the paid period
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period
- Upon cancellation, you will lose access to premium features at the end of your billing period
4.5 Refunds
Subscription Fees:
- Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable
- No pro-rated refunds for partial months
Transaction Fees:
- Platform fees ($1.00 convenience fee + 2% platform fee) are non-refundable
- Stripe processing fees are subject to Stripe's refund policy
- If a customer receives a refund, Stripe fees may be refunded, but platform fees are retained by ReHive
Service Refunds:
- Refunds for services are at the discretion of the business owner
- ReHive facilitates refunds through Stripe but does not determine refund eligibility
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ReHive to engage in, promote, or facilitate any unlawful, harmful, or prohibited activity. This includes but is not limited to:
- Uploading or distributing illegal, fraudulent, adult, or abusive content
- Spamming or sending unsolicited messages
- Attempting to disrupt or damage ReHive's infrastructure or data
- Operating high-risk or prohibited businesses under Stripe's acceptable use policy
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Impersonating others or providing false information
ReHive may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
6. Data and Privacy
6.1 Data Collection
ReHive collects limited personal information from users and end-customers to operate its Services. All payment data is processed by Stripe and is not stored directly by ReHive.
6.2 Privacy Policy
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using ReHive, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
6.3 Data Security
We implement security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication
- Regular security updates
- Access controls and monitoring
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.4 Data Portability
You may export your content and data at any time before termination. After account closure, data will remain accessible for 30 days before permanent deletion from our systems and backups.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 ReHive Property
All technology, templates, designs, software, and documentation provided through ReHive remain the exclusive property of ReHive, LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws.
7.2 User Property
You retain ownership of all content, data, images, and domain names you upload or connect to the Platform. By using ReHive, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
7.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell our software without permission
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use ReHive's intellectual property for any purpose other than using the Services
8. Service Availability and Disclaimer
8.1 Availability
We strive to maintain continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
8.2 Service Limitations
- Custom features and integrations may require additional time and resources
- Results may vary based on industry, competition, and other factors outside our control
- We are not responsible for third-party services (Stripe, Twilio, Resend, etc.) or their availability
8.3 Disclaimer
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReHive, its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill.
ReHive's total liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by you to ReHive in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You are responsible for backing up your data and content. ReHive is not liable for any loss of data or content.
10. Termination and Account Deletion
10.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination:
- Your subscription will remain active through the end of the paid period
- Your data will remain recoverable for 30 days before being permanently deleted
- All future bookings will be cancelled
- Customer data will be anonymized for compliance purposes
10.2 Termination by ReHive
ReHive may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the Services
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- You fail to pay subscription fees
- You breach any applicable laws or regulations
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Platform will be revoked
- Your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion
- You will not be entitled to any refunds for subscription fees
- Platform fees from transactions remain non-refundable
11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
11.1 Binding Arbitration
You and ReHive agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
11.2 Arbitration Process
- Arbitration will take place in Utah, USA
- Each party will bear its own costs and share equally the arbitrator's fees
- The arbitrator's decision will be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction
- You and ReHive waive any right to participate in a class action or jury trial
11.3 Exceptions
This arbitration agreement does not apply to:
- Claims for injunctive or equitable relief
- Small claims court proceedings
- Intellectual property disputes
12. Modifications to Terms
ReHive may revise these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
For material changes, ReHive may provide additional notice by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. General Provisions
13.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReHive regarding the use of the Services.
13.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
13.3 Waiver
No waiver of any term or condition of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition.
13.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without ReHive's prior written consent. ReHive may assign these Terms without restriction.
13.5 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
